On 10th November 2016, LPU student organization ‘Wings Of Hope’ organized the auditions for Mr. and Miss India 2017 here, on the campus. More than 50 students, from various streams, took the ramp at the Shanti Devi Mittal Auditorium, to showcase their modelling talents and win a chance to enter the mainstream glamour/film industry, and earn a go at the grand finale prizes worth Rs. 11 lakh.
The auditions were judged by Ranvijay Singh (anchor/actor/model), Tanvi Nagi (Pollywood actress), and Sharad Chaudhary (Director of Dreamz Production House). The visiting celebs interacted with LPU students of Journalism & Film Production, and shared some important tips for production, acting, and presentation.
