Magic was created right here when the Battle of Dream Competition took place on the grounds of Lovely Professional University on 16th February 2019.
This prestigious event marks the very soul of creativity and visualization where it is believed everyone is bustling with creativity and just waiting for a chance to burst out and showcase what they can do. ‘Battle of Dreams’ provides that very chance to the students, to participate and showcase their animated films made through various mediums.
The competition marks the memorial of L. Mr. Sanil Khanna, who was a faculty right here, and gave his all to the department. To realize his dream for visualization and creation of a whole new world the Animation Department hosts the ‘Battle of Dream’ Competition every year, with the help of his father Mr. Satish Khanna.
The competition is a month long competition ( February 2019 – March 2019) filled with various mind challenging competition such as painting and sketching etc. where the
students get to challenge their creative side of the brain and curb to its wanting to create something new.
The Winner of the competition is not only showered with praises but he / she / the team takes home prize money amounting to INR 25,000, along with the glory of forever printing their win in the books of creativity.
The winners are decided not only by our jury members but also through people’s choice, where each person inside the room get to vote for their favorite film based on various criteria, hence making the process bias free and at the same time fun to be a part of.
Everybody has a dream that they want realized, here is your chance to showcase what your creative brain is capable of.

Keep your senses and eyes open on your UMS screen for the chance may knock at your door this very month, for creativity can come from anywhere any everyone is allowed to take this chance and show all what they have got.
