We all know how eagerly we all wait for the summer vacations after one full year of studies and examinations at the university. We begin to cherish the thought of having some real time for ourselves much before the vacation begins. But, hardly do we plan how we would spend our free days unless we have something really exciting to do. Well, if we don’t, shouldn’t we explore the unexplored and turn our free days into some really productive ones? Just imagine how much we can learn and grow in more than a month!

Here are a few suggestions from my side.

  1. Pack Your Bags And Explore A New Place

Pack Your Bags And Explore A New PlaceWill it really be a vacation if it doesn’t add a tick mark against one of your dream destinations in the list? Well, holidays are the best time to explore the world because of the absence of stress and abundance of time. The best part of a trip to a new place is that you can make a lot of unforgettable memories that you will reminisce later.

  1. Go For An Internship

Go For An InternshipWhether or not an internship is compulsory for you this time, go for it! You can find a variety of internships from websites like Internshala. An internship does not necessarily have to be one month long. You may intern for a week or two, and you would still gain extra experience, knowledge, and skill. Since you have a lot of time at home, a work from home internship would also be a good idea. This would be also an addition to your resume. Isn’t that great?

  1. Learn A Sport

Learn A SportIn the wake of becoming industry-ready and worthy of a job, we often forget the importance of our physical health. Although our university provides us with a lot of sports opportunities, yet not all of us indulge in sports. So, one productive way to utilize holidays is to learn and practice a sport. It may be Football, Swimming, or even Martial Arts, any sport that you have always wanted to learn.

  1. Develop Some Hobbies

Develop Some HobbiesSpending time doing what you love becomes hard during college days. However, this vacation is an opportunity to catch up with your old hobbies and even develop some new ones. You can learn how to play the guitar, how to cook, or how to paint. There are plenty of wonderful things to learn and enjoy for your personal growth.

  1. Be Of Help To The Society

Be Of Help To The SocietyGood deeds come a long way. When you acknowledge and understand the suffrage of helpless people, you connect more with society. This vacation, spare some time to serve the society. You may volunteer for Non-Profit Organizations in your area, serve the orphanages or old age homes, or simply make your own efforts in helping the needy. Serving the helpless animals is another hidden and underrated form of service.

  1. Spend Plenty Of Time With Your Beloved Ones

Spend Plenty Of Time With Your Beloved OnesNot to forget, spending some quality time with your family and friends is really important. These are the people who need you the most, and who you need the most. Go on family dinners and celebrate the little occasions with your friends.

Don’t regret wasting an entire month. Spend it wisely because each day counts!
