The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand. – Vince Lombardi

For over 20 years, the Gladrags Mega Model & Manhunt has been India’s most glamourous unisex pageant. Aired on Channel V, the reality series has seen several young aspirants taste success and go on to greater things; from Lisa Ray and Lara Dutta to Dino Morea and John Abraham.

At this same prestigious contest, LPU alumnus Nikhil Malik was declared 1st Runner Up at the Gladrags Mega Model & Manhunt 2016 Grand Finale on August 7, 2016. Nikhil, who was a Journalism and Mass Communication student at LPU, competed against 19 other talented and determined contestants to finish second.

Out of thousands of aspiring models, 40 boys and girls made it through the gruelling auditions to compete in the Gladrags Megamodel Manhunt TV Reality Show. 14 were eliminated through weekly tasks, so that only 12 boys and 12 girls made it into the finals. The competition was tough to say the least, but Nikhil made it through and now a world of opportunities lies ahead of him.
