Ms. Priyanka Anand, a former M. Tech student at School of Mechanical Engineering and presently an Assistant Professor invited to present her novel research at 13th European Conference on Applied Superconductivity (EUCAS 2017) along with 200+ researchers from top universities across world held at CERN, Geneva during 17-21 September 2017.

LPU faculty invited to CERN Switzerland

Ms. Priyanka Anand presented her research on “Parametric Evaluation of Pressure Drop and Heat Transfer on Nano-Cryogenic Fluid in HTS Cables” and received huge appreciation from the experienced researchers and professors across various universities. Further, Ms. Priyanka Anand was bestowed with an awarded of 1000 CHF (Swiss Franc). Out of 123 young researchers in the field of Applied Superconductivity, only 45 researchers from all over the world including 5 from India were awarded with this grant. This conference was organized in collaboration with European Council for Nuclear Research, University of Geneva, EPFL-SPC (Swiss Plasma Centre), European Society for Applied Superconductivity (ESAS) and IEEE – Council for Superconductivity.
