It was a display of intelligence and hard work at the 2-day ‘Intelligent Robot Challenge’ organised by LPU School of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, where over 200 teams participated. Each team comprised of students from different streams of engineering.

In this competition, LPU EEE student T Jeevan from Telangana won Ist prize for his robot ‘Nebula’; whereas, CSE (Hons) students Priyansh Jain from Udaipur & Pratyush Shukla from Kanpur won 2nd prize for ‘Robo Warriors’. All of the robotics teams had designed, built, and programmed their competitive robots to perform a series of tasks as sport, using offense, defense, quick thinking, and scouting techniques. To build a successful robot, teams used code, programming, computer added designs, automation, mechanical, electrical engineering, and robotics to the core. The two-day competition had comprised 4 dynamic rounds: Line Following; Grid Solving (by crossing all destined nodes); Grid Solving Object Picker; and, Surprise task.

The winners were exuberant after the competition and expressed their happiness on how much new they learnt.
