The three-day annual mega-fest One India One World 2019 concluded on 30th of March at Lovely Professional University. While bidding adieu at the fest of the year, the university’s Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal wished best wishes to thousands of LPU’s student-participants and on-lookers and invoked them all to prove to be the best global students from great learning from the fest.

The results were the most awaited by everyone on that day. The evening was all lit up. The participants had a unique kind of enthusiasm on their faces, though their hard work had caused them enough fatigue. In the One World, the first prize was grabbed by Sri Lanka following up with Nigeria, DR Congo, Yemen, Bhutan and Afghanistan stood the first and second runners up. One India too had a beautiful ending where Telangana lifted the winner’s trophy following up with Kerela, Punjab, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Nagaland which secured the first and the second runners-up position. Although none had worked any less to showcase and present their culture in the best way they could.

The highlighting factor of the three-day celebration remained that students of a particular state or country were seen working and performing for the other states and countries. By doing in such a way, students availed a broadened opportunity to celebrate and pay respect to one another’s culture and celebrations.

During the conclusive part of the fest, the valedictory ceremony witnessed a grand cultural showcase of continuous dance performances of all the states of India and some countries of the world.
