LPU Student Organization SPADE is a five-tier organization known for conducting various cultural and diverse events throughout the year. A successful organization and presently a brand name as well, being established in 2015; SPADE is celebrating its 5th anniversary in style with none other than Ms. Aishwarya Majmudar – a singing sensation who is a YouTuber, singer and a voice-over artist.
Aishwarya Majmudar became popular after she participated in a music reality show STAR Voice of India- Chhote Ustaad at the age of 15 and was the winner of the 2007-08 season of that show. After this, she received numerous awards including Shahu Modak Award, Power 100 and Sangeet Ratna in 2006, 2008 and 2009 respectively. She sang her first playback for a Gujarati movie, eventually gaining more popularity and also established her career in Bollywood as a playback singer. Also, she had been invited to sing the American National anthem by the New York’s Indian community followed by the Indian National Anthem in 2009. She has now started her own Youtube channel in 2012 and is featured in a number of music videos along with various artists.
This famous singing sensation is now arriving at LPU with her melodious voice in SPADE KI PATHSHALA on 03rd of September, 2020; LIVE on the official Instagram page of Lovely Professional University (@lpuuniversity) from 6 PM onwards along with the entire SPADE family.
The event is being conducted to celebrate the auspicious occasion of 5th SPADE anniversary which usually is celebrated in Pingla Ghar, Jalandhar every year. Pingla Ghar is home to the needy which provides food, clothes, shelter and treatment irrespective of caste, gender, religion and age. The institute having nearly 400 patients is working hard towards the betterment of these homeless people and every year, the SPADE family visits this sacred and honorable place in order to help them by providing necessities free of cost for goodwill and to put on an evergreen smile on their faces.
As it is no longer possible to visit this year keeping in mind the current scenario, SPADE has found a new way to commemorate their momentous day through the tunes of music, music which can cool your mind and soothe your soul.
