Lovely Professional University offered an engaging 4-day Workshop on Qualitative Research Methodology from Dec.11 to 14, 2017 to forty-five research scholars and faculty members from Pan India. The participants represented GLS University Ahmedabad, MES Asmabi College, Thrissur, Kerala, Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar, Thapar University Patiala, Chandigarh University Chandigarh and DAV University Jalandhar.

The workshop witnessed an interactive and hands-on learning environment created by the Resource Persons: Dr Ritika Mahajan, Assistant Professor, Department of Business and Sustainability, Teri University, New Delhi – India and Dr Maheswar Satpathy, Assistant Professor, Global Health and Global Mental Health, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.  

The workshop covered theories and approaches to Qualitative Data Analysis namely  Grounded Theory, Content Analysis and Data Analysis using NVivo software. Participants were given hands-on experience of analysing and interpreting qualitative data. The participants were appreciative of the resource person’s expertise, teaching pedagogy and continuously maintained vibrancy and energy level throughout the workshop.
