Youth Vibe Global Open Fest has announced its official dates – 18 th to 22nd October. Start looking forward to a 5 day fun filled fiesta.
Youth Vibe Global Open Fest opened its gates by announcing the Grand Opening Ceremony of Magnitude 2016. The lovely crowd of LPU will get to witness Music / Dance / Theatre / Fashion events from the most talented people on the campus. Those lucky few who make it to the finals of Magnitude will directly qualify for Youth Vibe 2016 and compete with students from across the globe.
Among the slated events is the eagerly awaited MAGNITUDE MEGA MODEL HUNT 2016: THE GATEWAY TO ONE OF THE BIGGEST FASHION EXTRAVAGANZAS ON CAMPUS. All the Title and Overall Winners shall qualify for Youth Vibe International Mega Model Hunt. The prizes for the YV Hunt are a considerable sum in cash and appointments as Ambassadors of Youth Vibe for the Life Style category.
In the grand opening ceremony the finalists of LPU Mr and Miss Fresher 2016 will be announced after they walk the ramp in theme ‘Indian’. They will be competing for 12 subsidiary titles as well as the ultimate titles of Mr and Miss Fresher 2016. In the final round to qualify as a finalist, on 25th August, 7 female and 5 male contestants faced group discussions on the topics “Do we really need smart cities?” and “Should Fashion Events be banned in the University?” to which the LPU models answered boldly and confidently. Finalists of Mr and Miss Fresher this year include international students from Bhutan, Bangladesh and the Kingdom of Lesotho as well.
This year the theme of Youth Vibe will be “Nostalgia”. Expect the University to be decorated with your favourite cartoon characters – don’t forget to pose and click a selfie!
