Background & Rationale
SEVA-Service Excellence through Value Addition-I, a Corporate Training Program was organized at Lovely Professional University for the participants of Pioneer Assurance Consultants Ltd. Dr. Nikhil Monga, Assistant Professor, Mr. Narinder Singh Garcha, Assistant Director and Dr. Rahul Sharma, Associate Professor, Lovely Professional University were the key facilitators for the inaugural session.
The schedule carried a multi-pronged approach that included Ice breakers, simulations, inputs, group discussions, Audio Video based and situational analysis, Role Plays and presentations by the participants.
The Focus pointers were:

- Context Setting and Introduction to Service Excellence
- Customer Service Excellence
- Customer Focus Factors
- Customer Relationship Management the digital way
- Field Survey and Assignment
The focus was on Customer Service Excellence, Customer Focus Factors, the 21st century customer, Essence of Digitalization in customer relationship building. The deliberations highlighted how to create social media presence, data collection and analysis, utilization of social media platforms like Face book, Whats app, Instagram and LinkedIn for enhancing customer base. A market survey field assignment was rolled out at the end of the session. The sessions were based on experiential learning.
The program received active participation of staff members from Pioneer Assurance Consultants Ltd. The participants were appreciative of the gesture shown by the University in terms of choice of Subject Matter Experts, appropriate learning environment, venue setting, infrastructure, study tours and content delivery. The participants observed that the program was outcome oriented and gave them new insights on the topic.
