Lovely Professional University, in its unwavering pursuit of academic excellence and experiential learning, recently achieved a remarkable milestone with a national-level educational tour to the prestigious National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Mohali. Recognized as an Institute of National Importance, NIPER stands as a global beacon of pharmaceutical innovation and research.
Organized by the Club WAO Federation in collaboration with the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, the tour brought together 115 aspiring pharmaceutical professionals, accompanied by two senior faculty members. This immersive educational experience provided students with firsthand exposure to cutting-edge research facilities, including advanced pharmacology and pharmaceutics labs, where they observed innovations in drug development, biomedical sciences, and pharmaceutical technology.
Guided by the Head of the PR Cell and Mr. Bhupender from NIPER, the students gained deep insights into the practical applications of their academic knowledge, bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world pharmaceutical research. A visit to the Heritage Club Museum further enriched the experience, showcasing the evolution and legacy of pharmaceutical science in India.
