We live such a fast paced life that we seldom bother to pause and listen to our heart. Some of our desires and wishes remain unfulfilled, and we never realize until it is too late. This fast paced life excites and draws ourselves to it. But a balance between the wants of the heart and the brain is vital. To tackle this grave problem among the youth, NSS organised a workshop on Art of Positive Thinking at LPU.
Dr. Sachin Parab Medical Advisor & Consultant to pharmaceutical & clinical research organizations visited LPU on 10th October and gave an interactive lecture to the Vertos on “Art of Positive Thinking”
In the lecture, Dr. Sachin Parab shared wonderful stories to encourage the students by giving references of his interactions with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and other eminent personalities. He shared the important information related to life and that how a person can enhance his ability and make their life healthy and happy through values and spirituality. He said “The Brahma Kumaris seeks to help individuals re-discover and strengthen their inherent worth by encouraging and facilitating a process of spiritual awakening.” This leads to an awareness of the importance of thoughts and feelings as the seeds of actions. The development of virtues and value-based attitudes create a practical spirituality which enhances personal effectiveness in the workplace and in family life. The individual is then able to maintain a balance between the two. He ended up his speech with “Never give up, put your efforts to make your life successful.”
