LPU’s first Alumni CSR activity has been successfully brought to completion. President Hyderabad Chapter Mr. Amar Singh Rathore and team were able to raise their target amount of Rs. 50,000 well before the end date they had set for themselves. With LPU’s contribution of Rs.25,000, and the generosity of the LPU alumni community, the Hyderabad Chapter succeed in the noble task they had undertaken.
With the money collected, the alumni team bought supplies like clothes, groceries, and other necessities for kids infected and affected by HIV/AID being helped by the DESIRE Society. These were distributed by the team at the Society’s premises on February 5th, where a lunch and some fun activities with the children were also arranged.
This is a great beginning by the LPU Alumni Community. Hope their good work continues to help people in need.
