We’re thrilled to share the highlights from our recent Workshop on Excel Essentials with Tips, Tricks and Shortcuts held from August 24-26, 2024, exclusively for the Administrative Staff of Lovely Professional University. This insightful session was expertly led by Mr. Puneet Soni, Senior Officer at the Human Resource Development Center, LPU. Over the course of the workshop, participants gained practical experience in several key areas.
They mastered data cleaning techniques, learnt how to effectively organize and refine data to ensure accuracy. The workshop also covered strategies for handling large data sets efficiently, including the use of Excel tables to streamline data management and enhance productivity. Participants explored the creation of dynamic reports through PivotTables, which allowed them to generate interactive and comprehensive reports with ease.
Additionally, the participants explored into data visualization, equipping with the skills to select and design appropriate charts and graphs for clearer data presentation. Essential and advanced formulas and functions were also covered, providing participants with powerful tools for data manipulation and analysis.
The workshop concluded with an in-depth look at building interactive dashboards, using slicers to create dynamic visualizations and insightful data analyses. Mr. Puneet Soni’s expertise and engaging presentation style contributed significantly to the workshop’s success. The enthusiasm and active participation of all attendees made the event highly productive and enjoyable.
