So after winning the title of Mr. Freshmen at my university, I had successfully passed the first phase of my modeling career. I was selected as one of the official models of the university. I was guided and trained enough to represent the university; for the coming events, competitions and fashion shows.
After achieving the title, I was approached by many Modeling Teams to join them. Also, I got offers for shoots inside the campus. I saw myself being known to everyone especially to the other 15 thousand freshers and all the faculty and staff. Now the next challenge for me was to keep up with expectations of everyone. I planned to represent my university by participating in all the upcoming competitions.
The university sent me to various other universities to participate in their annual fests and modeling titles. I gave in my best every time and with constant push and motivation by the university, I performed well in all the shows I participated and within no time I was selected as a showstopper as well.
I participated and won various Modeling pageants for which the information was provided by my university only.
One such Modeling title was Mr. Modello of the Year which was conducted under the ZEE banner and a prominent director and stylist Mr. Abimanyu Singh was the Chief Guest of the event. I gave in my best for this title and after winning it; it gave me another boost and I was also approached for TV Shows as well. This was only possible because of my decision of coming to LPU.
Another such title and the most special one was Mr. Punjabi 2019 which I gave auditions after getting the notification by my university. As it’s said Hard work pays off, I was selected in this show as a wild card entry with a lot of strong contenders competing against me. With constant dedication and determination, I was able to win the title. Afterwards, I got offers for web series, shoots and shows.
With modeling at LPU, I also do shoots for songs with prominent celebrities of the industry. It is always a great and lifelong experience for me.
I have also been a part of Big TV shows like PTC Punjabi where I met and interacted with a lot of influential people from the Television Industry.
The best part about my modeling career at LPU is that I’m able to carry it on alongside my studies. It is only possible because of the curriculum at LPU is and the opportunities it provides.
