The 3-Day Neo-International Conference on ‘Smart Habitats and Innovations’ started today at Lovely Professional University. The conference has been organized in collaboration with Indian Institute of Architects (IIA)- a national body of architects in India, and is being attended by national and international professionals, academicians, developers, contractors, builders, environmentalists, students, and policy makers from all related fields.
This grand event started with the inaugural session in which all the delegates were warmly welcomed, followed by the souvenir release. Mr. Ashok Mittal, Chancellor LPU, and Guest of Honor, welcomed the delegates with the candle lighting ceremony. Mr. Atul Singhla, Conference Convener NICHE IPM 2016, along with Chief Guest Logosu Teko, addressed the students. Other delegates present there were Mr. Surinder Bahga (Conference Patron, NICHE IPM 2016), and Mr. Sanjay Goel (Conference Chair). The main event started with a classical dance performance which was highly appreciated by the audience. A question answer session followed by the sponsors presentation concluded the business side of DAY 1. The day ended with a mesmerising cultural showcase.
