In a recent survey conducted by UniRank, a World Universities search engine, Lovely Professional University was placed in the top 200 according to its Facebook University Ranking, just ahead of Yale and MIT. LPU has made it to the 9th rank based on the page likes or the fan counts. The aim of this newly published 2017 Facebook University Ranking is to provide a popularity index of all Universities in the world embracing Facebook as their main social media platform.
UniRank was established in 2005 and is based in Sydney. It is an international higher education directory and a search engine which includes over 12,000 accredited Universities and Colleges worldwide. The website gets a daily traffic of about 40,000 unique visitors from more than 100 countries and is a point of reference for international students and university staff.
A ranking from such a coveted source is truly a matter of pride for the entire LPU fraternity.
