The best feeling in the world is to know that your parents are smiling because of you.
Sadly, too few of the young today feel that way. The current generation of youth don’t value their parents and elders enough.
The picture tells me a story – the old man in the picture has been asking his son (the man in blue) to clear the blockage in their farm, so that water can reach the crops. However, the young man has been ignoring his father’s request and chatting away with his friend.
The picture bespeaks the disrespect and lonliness that the elderly deal with from the current generation. A generation that ignores the words of those that taught them to speak.
