Lovely Professional University (LPU) marked a proud and historic moment as its students brought laurels to the institution by securing top honours at two prestigious national platforms, reaffirming the university’s commitment to excellence in academics, culture, leadership, and holistic development.
In a spectacular achievement at the AIU National Qawwali Competition, LPU students emerged as the Overall Champions, creating history by becoming the only private university in India to win this coveted title three times. Their mesmerizing performance, musical brilliance, and seamless teamwork captivated audiences and judges alike, highlighting LPU’s strong cultural legacy.
Adding to the celebrations, LPU students also delivered an outstanding performance at the 4th AIU National Women Student Parliament 2025–26, where the university clinched the Overall Championship for the second consecutive year. Demonstrating exceptional confidence, intellect, and leadership skills, LPU also secured the prestigious Best Speaker Award, further showcasing the university’s focus on nurturing future leaders and changemakers.
To celebrate these remarkable victories, the university campus came alive with a vibrant Students’ Cultural Procession, filled with enthusiasm, music, and colourful performances that reflected the diverse and creative spirit of LPU.
The celebrations were graced by the presence of Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Founder Chancellor of LPU, along with Col. Dr. Rashmi Mittal, Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor of LPU, who congratulated the students for their dedication, hard work, and determination. They encouraged them to continue aiming higher and bringing greater recognition to the university and the nation.
Further adding to the pride-filled occasion, Prof. Ved Prakash Ji (Former UGC Chairman) also met the winning students and personally applauded their extraordinary accomplishments. He inspired them to keep striving for excellence and continue setting new benchmarks.
