Front end development is the practice of producing the User Interface and User Experience of a website using various technical tools. It is also known as client-side development. The objective of designing a site is to ensure that when users open up the site, they see the information in a format that is easy to read and relevant.
During seven days of workshop, topics like HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, responsive designs and many more were covered. Projects such as making a full functioning calculator were developed with the help and efforts of the experienced mentors: Mr. Gagan Agarwal and Mr. Bipin Chaudhary. Study materials were also provided to participants to enhance their learning experience.
After the successful completion of the workshop, a competition was conducted to provide a platform for the students to showcase their talents with a competitive spirit and analyze what they have learned so far. The topic given for the competition was the LinkedIn clone. Participants were judged based on their knowledge and understanding of the basic functionalities, design elements, user interface and coding documentation.
The top three performers were Sanyog, Pallavi, and Ruhani; the winners were encouraged with Merit Certificates and offered a 70% discount on courses in Coding Blocks. All the participants were awarded e-Certificates.
