A free medical check-up camp was organised by LPU NSS in association with Patel Hospital, Jalandhar, on 26th November, in the hostels of LPU. Many students and staff members attended the camp and it lasted for around 5 hours. A routine measure of blood sugar, blood pressure, height and weight were taken for everyone, along with individual consultations for those with specific complaints.
Physician, Dr. Sheenam; dietician, Ms. Samneet Kaur, and gynaecologist, Dr. Jasmine Kaur examined the patients at the camp. The doctors gave tips for staying healthy and also prescribed medicine and tests to students with health issues.
