A green paint from Litchi peel and seed?
Yes, a Lovely Professional University faculty, Dwarika Prasade from the School of Chemical Engineering and Physical Sciences has now made it possible. This new green paint has been developed using Plant Waste Material and is 100 percent eco-friendly. Let’s applaud our faculty for being a creative innovator.
Speaking to BusinessLine about his innovation, Dwarika Prasade said he used extracts from the peel and seeds of Litchi Chinensis to develop a 100 per cent natural primer and paint.
The university has a filed patent for the 100 percent natural paint and Prasade claimed this innovation as the first of its kind.
