Bhangra beats take you to your tradition and let you tap your feet on the Dhol beats. The form of dance that reaches out without boundaries, compelling the audience to dance along with the professional dancers. Our LPU students are known to kill the heat with their dance steps. The best is they brought laurels to the family as usual. It was the teamwork under the able guidance of the head and the able coach who not only guided them but became part of the team to make them comfortable to bring them out of their comfort zone. Winning has become a habit where our students are concerned. It brings immense pleasure to declare the results. We bagged the first position in the 3rd Raj Padri Culture Bhangra Cup 2023. The winning LPU Team received a cash prize of Rs 31,000. An individual accomplishment within the team, Gurjivan Singh, was awarded the Best Dancer title, showcasing his exceptional dancing skills, and Gurpreet Singh received the award for Best Singer. We have the pre-eminent drummer, Mr. Sukhvinder Pal, along with his drum beats take bhangra to another level. LPU Prodigies made us once again illustrious with their attainments. Winning or losing is just the part of the game. LPU students are encouraged to participate with full zeal and enthusiasm leaving the rest in the hands of the jury.

Even Jury members had a tough time selecting the winner as all the teams were at their best. Providing arduous and skilled coaching to our squads has taken us to the pinnacle.
Let us dive into the achievers’ gallery of the team, which has the habit of putting up at zenith. The band showcased their skills in front of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, on Republic Day Parade on 26 January, 2023. The congregation was the honorable President, The Prime Minister, the embassies, and the countrymen, after winning the North Zone Grand Finale held at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi, in December 2022.
