Minister of Technical Education and Industrial Training in the Punjab government, Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi inaugurated ‘Mega Job Fair’ today at Lovely Professional University. This mega job fair is organised for four days from 30th August to 2nd September 2017. Splendid offers were made by several national and universal companies/brands at LPU grounds. A huge number of graduate and post-graduate competitors had enrolled on the website www.ggnpunjab.com. Lofty organizations including Concentrix, Axis Securities, Indus Ind Bank, Micro Labs, Policy Bazar, Just Dial, Decathlon, Mahindra Swaraj, Alkem Labs, Big Bazar, Share Khan, Max Life Insurance and numerous others have arranged to enroll the candidates from different departments. The selection is to be determined by challenging the candidates in examinations, aptitude tests and personal interview. Addressing the hopeful students and faculty, The Minister Channi said thanks to LPU for being an extraordinary body of the administration activity and said, “A few days ago Chief Minister Amarinder Singh had launched ‘Ghar Ghar Naukri’ scheme. I am happy to note that this mammoth-job campaign at LPU will solidify state government’s anticipations for providing employment to 50,000 young men and women of the state.”  CM of Punjab would hand over appointment letters to the selected candidates on 5th September at Mohali (Chandigarh). Quoting examples from his personal life, Mr Channi advised students: “Be an all-rounder and set target for your life along with a set time table to achieve that.” Along with this proud venture, State government has likewise wanted to set up business department in each region of the state by updating the work trades with the goal that every single qualified individual may land a position.
