Pursuing its activities that foster growth and render a global exposure to its students, LPU became the first University in the region to tie up with Pega Systems, USA. Students studying at LPU will now get the opportunity to receive training on Pega Software and become the most sought-after candidates by top companies. Pega Officials reached LPU Campus and informed the Computer Science students about the training programme and its advantages.
LPU is one of the 13 Universities in India to sign a MoU with Pega Academy. Ms Vijaya, Senior Technical Trainer, Pega, CDO Talent Sprint Sridhar and Director Talent Sprint Girisharan addressed the students and the faculty members. They informed that the purpose of Pega Academy is to provide online resources, classroom training and certification for systems integrators to help train new Pega specialists.
LPU Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal informs: “Prior to this, LPU already has many academic and industrial tie-ups with top global and national companies, and has ‘Center of Excellence’ set up at the campus by Google, Microsoft, SAP Labs, Tech Mahindra, Oracle, Intel, Dell EMC2, CISCO, Cadence, Texas Instruments, Bentley Institute, Lupin Pharmaceuticals and many more. LPU students work on real-life projects in industry-sponsored labs. Such classic industry experiences prepare all of them towards grabbing job opportunities in an easy way.”
