In order to develop presentation skills and enhance awareness of the hotel industry among students, School of Professional Enhancement, LPU organized a one day presentation competition for the students of School of Hotel Management, on 12th Nov, 2016.
The participating students of Hotel Management were first divided into teams of 4 members each. Each member of every team was assigned a role – General Manager, Executive Chef, Room Division Member and, Marketing Manager of a Renowned Hotel like the Oberoi, Taj, ITC etc. They were required to research the hotel as well as the role and then present their role in the hotel to the audience and the judges, and explain what made their hotel the best.
Each team was evaluated on communication skills, presentation skills, body language, confidence, knowledge of the hotel they were presenting on and coordination among the team members. The prize winners were:
