Foreign representative of Government of Manitoba (Canada) in India and the much acclaimed Management Consultant Jagat Shah was on a visit to LPU. Mr. Jagat Shah is Management Consultant to over 20+ countries around the world. He motivated and encouraged the students by sharing his own experiences with them. He shared some unique tips with the students on “Innovative Approaches to Build Career in New India 3.0”
He advised the students on how they can make the best use of the initiatives launched by the GOI like StartUp India, Digital India and StandUp India and also add more value to the Indian Economy. By giving examples from many businesses in the US and other countries, he told the students about many Dos and Don’ts in business. Mr. Shah, who is also commonly known as ‘Mentor on Road’ will soon conduct Road Shows in India to encourage business expansion. The session was very interactive where the students asked many questions to him.
Mr. Shah told the students, “Individualize yourself by having personal website, Video CVs, Linkedin Profile, Twitter Handle; do something different to establish your identity in the world; learn more languages; awaken competitiveness within the self; have internship with industry; innovate; be productive; have a mentor from early stage of life; learn success from failings; work online; create startup to solve emerging societal problems”
