As students, we mostly have a ton of things we want to do during holidays. All the things school has been holding us from doing. Going out with friends, visiting relatives, catching up with TV programs and getting extra sleep -Who doesn’t like some extra sleep? – But what if we add a spoon of productivity in the mixing bowl. You’re probably thinking that will make the holidays boring but there so many fruitful yet fun, things you can do. Give me some time to explain a few in three main areas.
Developing new hobbies and skills. Learning new things makes life more interesting and less boring hence do not be afraid to try. It is through trying new activities that we discover our unknown abilities. During the holiday try something like playing a musical instrument, cooking or a new sport. Who knows? You might love your new hobbies than your current ones. There is no harm in trying.
Substituting a bad habit with a good one. We all have regular tendencies and practices. Others are upright and others are not, they either improve or distract us and one thing about habits is they are not easy to give up. However, exchanging a habit with another is the best way to ensure we’re not stricken by our immoral deeds. A holiday is a chance to train yourself on behaving right. An example maybe controlling the amount of junk food you consume if you do it a little too much or you can learn how to plan your day.
Being creative. Take some time to look at the little or more knowledge you’ve in a certain field. It might even be whatever you’ve learnt in this semester and try to be imaginative with it. Think of the possible ways you can use it to improve your life and those around you. You don’t need Einstein’s IQ to be creative, creativity comes out of limitations.
Let me round off, all these areas point out to so many examples. It’s all about the activity that comes to your mind as you go through the main points. I’m wishing you a wonderful holiday, may you have a blast with productivity attached.
