We have always stayed ahead in every aspect whether it’s cultural, sports, or academics surpassing the best universities of the country and polishing the name of “Lovely Professional University” in bold letters wherever we go. Shining the name of our university amongst a sky full of stars is what the students have been doing all this way and now, our faculties have also added to the list. LPU has produced innumerable stars in every domain possible and this time, we will be talking about another music video prepared completely by the cast of LPU!
Assistant Professor Dr. Monu Kumar of the Department of Cultural Affairs is a music artist, music director, and music composer and has worked on a lot of albums with popular singers like Sukhwinder Singh. He goes under the name R Maahi and has recently released an album “Russ Jani Aan” on YouTube where he sang and composed the song single-handedly featuring Yuvraj Hans. This time, he released another song on YouTube named “Chlaki” which comes with a triple entertainment package as it not only has been sung and composed by an LPU-ian, but also features the students of LPU as lead actors. Even the cast and production have been done by LPU Vertos!
Chlaki features LPU student Saahas Subodh Ramaul who has been featured earlier in a reality show The Big Picture at ColorsTV along with Ranveer Singh where Ranveer was overwhelmed by his charming look, elegant style, and humble nature, and Ankita who is a student of LPU as well playing lead roles. The video has been created by Akshay Premi who is an alumnus of LPU and a film director owning “Akshay Premi Films” since 2019. The lyrics are written by Jind and the whole cinematography of the video has been completed within the beautiful and lush green campus of LPU. Aditya Bhardwaj and Ashwani Naar are the head of the production department with Surinderjeet Singh Khaira (Savy) being the producer of the music video.
The video is available on YouTube under the label Peppy Records and currently stands on 45,963 views and 5.9K likes. The song is also available online on music platforms like Wynk music, JIOSaavn, Resso, Spotify, Shazam, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, KK Box, and Boomplay.
