Lovely Professional University (LPU) successfully organized the Republic of Cyber Sentinels – Capture the Flag (RCS CTF) 2026, a national-level cybersecurity competition, on January 30–31, 2026. The event brought together talented students from across the country to test and enhance their cybersecurity expertise through hands-on, real-world challenges.
Participants competed in diverse domains such as web security, cryptography, digital forensics, and network defense, showcasing strong technical skills, strategic thinking, and collaborative problem-solving abilities. Over two intensive days, the competition created an environment of innovation, learning, and healthy competition.
Speaking on the occasion, Suraj Mani stated, “RCS CTF 2026 was designed to provide students with hands-on exposure to real-world cyber threats and defense mechanisms. The enthusiasm and dedication shown by participants were truly commendable.”
A senior university official added that such initiatives reflect LPU’s commitment to industry-relevant education, equipping students with practical skills required to address emerging cybersecurity challenges.
At the conclusion of the competition, Team ScriptJackers secured first place, followed by White Devil in second position and CYPHERLOCK in third. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, celebrating excellence and innovation in cybersecurity.
