LPU student Swagat Das was amongst the only two Indians who attended the ‘55th International Astronomical Youth Camp 2019‘ held in Klingenthal, Germany.
Swagat was a part of the team that built a radio telescope to record and analyze the data captured from the Sun and Jupiter. He also wrote research papers in an attempt to solve the multiple theories that are based on the world-famous Fermiparadox and METI projects.
The International Astronomical Youth Camp (IAYC) is a three-week long summer camp aiming to promote knowledge of astronomy and related sciences in a unique international atmosphere. It is organised by an international team of students and young scientists, all members of the International Workshop for Astronomy.
Such masterly minds are an inspiration for all the young minds at LPU!
