Background & Rationale
SEVA-Service Excellence through Value Additions, a Corporate Training Program was organized at Lovely Professional University for the participants of Sehdev Travels and Educational Services, Jalandhar. Mr. Narinder Singh Garcha, Assistant Director, MrSarbjit Singh Kwatra, Assistant Director,Dr. Rahul Sharma, Associate Professor, Mr. Guneet Paul Singh, Assistant Professor, Ms. Kanu Sharma, Assistant Professor, Dr. Harpreet Singh Bedi, Assistant Professor and Mr. Puneet Soni, Officer, Lovely Professional University were the key facilitators.
The schedule carried a multi-pronged approach that included Ice breakers, simulations, inputs, group discussions, Audio Video based and situational analysis, Role Plays and presentations by the participants.
The Focus pointers were:

- Customer Service Excellence
- Customer Focus Factors
- Customer Relationship Management the digital way
- Field Survey and Assignment
The focus was on Customer Service Excellence, Customer Focus Factors, The 21st century customer, Essence of Digitalization in customer relationship building. The deliberations on creating social media presence, importance of data collection and analysis, utilization of social media platforms like Face book, Whats app, Instagram and LinkedIn for enhancing customer base. A market survey field assignment was rolled out at the end of the session. The sessions were based on experiential learning.
The program received active participation of members from Sehdev Travels and Educational Services, Jalandhar. The participants were appreciative of the gesture shown by the University in terms of choice of Subject Matter Experts, appropriate learning environment, venue setting, infrastructure, study tours and content delivery. The participants observed that the program was outcome oriented and gave them new insights on the topic.
