The High Commission of the Republic of Cyprus in India, H.E. Mr. Evagoras Vryonides, graced Lovely Professional University (LPU) with their presence. The visit was marked by insightful interactions and engaging discussions on “the convergence of professions, education, and social endeavours in Cyprus.”

H.E. Mr. Evagoras shared insights on aligning education with professional requisites, nurturing entrepreneurship, and envisioning forthcoming trends in Cyprus while delving into the rich historical tapestry of the country. The session, graced by a captivating guest lecture from Prof. Yiorgos Hadjichristou on the life and Journey of an architect, sparked creativity and hands-on learning among the students, particularly in the realms of architecture and design.

Dr. Sanjay Modi, Pro Vice Chancellor along with Dr. Aman Mittal, Vice President of LPU, and Senior Dean and Chief Architect Dr. Atul Singla, extended a warm welcome to the High Commission of the Republic of Cyprus in India, H.E. Mr. Evagoras Vryonides, and Prof. Yiorgos Hadjichristou from the University of Nicosia.
