LPU School of Professional Enhancement and HRDC are organising a workshop on Business English Certification on 2nd Dec 2017. More than ever, a good knowledge of the English language is needed to succeed in the international world of business and commerce. Many people aspire to Business English Certificate as it gives an added advantage in the job market and makes it easier for them to work internationally. This globally recognised business qualification shows that they have a good command of the English language and have the skills to use English professionally in the workplace. This workshop shall prepare the teachers to train the student aspirants to be successful in an international working environment; to give themselves a head start when looking for employment; to improve all of their business English language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) hence giving them an edge over competitors of Business English Certificates (BEC) exam.
Certification
Participation certificates will be awarded subject to meeting participation criteria i.e.100% attendance.

Ms Monisha Gupta
Ms Monisha Gupta is Principal Presenter and Teacher Trainer with the Cambridge University, UK, for India and Nepal. She is associated with the British Council-British High Commission, as an Education Consultant and Subject Matter Expert and Teacher Trainer with Scholastic India Ltd, She is an alumnus of the prestigious Sacred Heart Convent Loyola School. Received an Honours degree from Indraprastha College, Delhi University. She has studied Management from IIT-Delhi.She is the lead content developer and facilitator for Dalmia Bharat’s CSR initiative in New Delhi. She has been the Master Trainer for Microsoft Intel- Teach to the future Program for teachers and Scholastic’s UK College for Teachers accredited course on Phonic. She is a facilitator for the UK government’s Reading Challenge programme for children conducted by the British Council, New Delhi. She imparts training to teachers, students, parents and professionals in the corporate sector for preparing Cambridge Examinations.
How To Register
- Step 1: Go to http://www.lpu.in/academics/faculty-development.php
- Step 2: View brochure in the tab “Courses Available”
- Step 3: If a new user, enter your particulars to register or create an account.
- Step 4: Login to your account.
- Step 5: Click on “Register” to register for the desired course available on the home page.
- Step 6: Select the appropriate participant group for registration. If Research Scholar, attach proof of registration in M.Phil. or Ph.D Program. If a student, attach student ID card.
- Step 7: Select the payment mode and make payment accordingly.
All faculty/staff/alumni and students are encouraged to register. Registration will be on first come first served basis. Registration closes on November 27, 2017.
