Day 2 of YouthVibe 2020 was full of extraordinary events like a fashion show, Mr and Miss YouthVibe, Face painting, emotional and inspiring plays, Canvas story and arresting photography competitions. But the most energetic events for which the whole campus was eagerly waiting, EDM’s and western dance were on the ending days. Both dance and musical events were blockbuster and gave students some unforgettable memory of this campus.
The presence of DJ CANDICE in the university at the end of day 2 was amazing. After quizzes, plays, and competitions everyone was waiting for the moment to let them dance freely on the mesmerizing electronic music. It was the 2nd visit of DJ CANDICE in our university and she again won every single heart from the crowd. Starting with Alan Walker songs and moving to David Guetta and Diplo music, DJ CANDICE exactly knows what exactly we love.
Day 3 astonishing performance was given by one of India’s popular and fastest emerging band “Lagori”. Initially, most of the students were in doubt about the band, but when the guitarist played the tune of “Laal meri pat”, every single student and faculty of nearby stalls and blocks ran into Unipolis. The energy of Lagori and interaction with the crowd was amazing and it was just like watching Queen or Linkin Park live. Songs like Boom Shankar and Dhuaa from their album were just irresistible.
The western dance show on the last day felt like sitting on the set of World of Dances or DID. From hip hop to popping, robotics to contemporary and jazz to lyrical, LPU has enormous talent in dance. Various performances were dedicated to the parents and family and got standing ovations by the audience.
And here comes the stunning, greatest concluding performance of YouthVibe 2020, the EDM show by amazing DJs around the globe GREFF, D’Angello and Francis. The amount of crowd gathered at Unipolis were multitudinous and their no words to describe the sense of energy and happiness that was in the air. Everyone jumped boisterously on the Avicii famous “Wake me up” and just continued on Faded and Electric Tribe music.
The show ended up with the crowd cheering YouthVibe with the loudest possible voice. These 4 days were surprising and beautiful and gave everyone thousands of memories. Also, the hard work of crew members and volunteers is greatly appreciable and everyone will keenly wait for events like YouthVibe.
