Background & Rationale
The Winning Mantra, a Management development program was conducted for Sales Managers of Pukhraj Health Care Pvt Ltd. from North India.
The program aimed at enriching the participants with winning team attributes and characteristics. The resource panel consisted of Dr. Sunaina Ahuja, Associate Professor & Dy. Dean, and Mr. Sarabjit Singh Kwatra, Assistant Director, Human Resource Development Center, LPU.
The Program was spread over three interactive sessions in which participants were individually coached with respect to Team Building – Team attributes and characteristics. The schedule carried a multi-pronged approach that included inputs, group discussions, case based analysis and finally presentations by the participants illustrating their findings.
The Focus pointers were:
- Context Setting and the attributes of Winning Team
- The principles and process of Team Building
- The characteristics of Winning Team
- The Dos and Don’t’s of Team Building
The deliberations stimulated self-learning amongst the participants who actively participated in the program. The participants were appreciative of the gesture shown by the University in terms of choice of Subject Matter Experts, appropriate learning environment, venue setting, infrastructure, study material and content delivery. They were also impressed by the subject expertise of the resource persons.
The participants observed that the program was outcome oriented and gave them new insights on the topic. It was relevant for enhancement in quality of performance. LPU-HRDC is committed to providing tailor-made Professional Development programs for corporate leading to the strengthening of Industry-Academia relations.
