Background & Rationale

Team Building and Engagement,a Management development program was conducted for Sales Managers of Pukhraj Health Care Pvt Ltd. from NorthIndia.

The program aimed at enriching the participants with winning team attributes and characteristics. The resource panel consisted of Dr. SunainaAhuja, Associate Professor & Dy. Dean, and Mr. Sarabjit Singh Kwatra, Assistant Director, Human Resource Development Center, LPU.

The Program was spread over three interactive sessions in which participants were individually coachedwithrespecttoTeamBuilding-Teamattributesandcharacteristics.Theschedulecarried a multi-pronged approach that included inputs, group discussions, case-based analysis and finally presentations by the participants illustrating theirfindings.

The Focus pointers were:

  • Context Setting and the attributes of WinningTeam
  • The principles and process of TeamBuilding
  • The characteristics of WinningTeam
  • The Dos and Don’ts of TeamBuilding

The deliberations stimulated self-learning amongst the participants who actively participated in the program. The participants were appreciative of the gesture shown by the University in termsof choice of Subject Matter Experts, appropriate learning environment, venue setting, infrastructure, study material and content delivery. They were also impressed by the subject expertise of the resource persons.

The participants observed that the program was outcome oriented and gave them new insights on the topic. It was relevant for enhancement in quality of performance. LPU-HRDC is committedto provide tailor made Professional Development programs for corporate leading to strengthening of Industry- Academia relations.
