Marking the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan-the first Vice President & second President of India, Lovely Professional University (LPU) celebrated National Teachers Day with its thousands of faculty members in varied aspects. Remembering Dr Radhakrishnan, an eminent scholar, philosopher, teacher and statesman; his saying that “teachers should be the best minds in the country” was upheld in all measures.

Celebrating the endless contribution of teachers in the lives of all people, LPU Chancellor Dr Ashok Kumar Mittal forwarded best wishes to all the teachers at the campus and across the globe to guide the world to ever live in peace and prosperity. Dr Mittal also shared that the influence of teachers always extends beyond the class-rooms for imparting lessons to shape the future of the students.

He also congratulated the teaching fraternity at the campus for setting benchmarks in diverse fields of research, placements, sports, innovations and more. He invoked all to continue motivating their students to have brilliant careers ahead.

Motivational speaker Suneel Keswani

On this occasion, noted inspirational speaker Suneel Keswani applauded LPU teachers’ achievements.  Remembering the harsh COVID-19 period, he touched the topic ‘Advantage-21st Century Skills’, and inspired all to be a life-long learner along with staying as a teacher. Keep on contributing the best to the society and the students.

Sufi singer Satinder Sartaaj

Recognising the contribution of teachers to the society, LPU students also put on a lot of performances, dances and shows for their respected teachers.  Adding more luster to the celebratory mood of the day; the Sufi-singing and sermonizing icon-Satinder Sartaaj also mesmerized LPU teachers through his spectacular live performance at the campus stage.  He presented many of his recognized musical numbers for all.
