The faculty of Lovely Professional University recently donned students’ hats as Mr. Deepankar Sarkar, Training Consultant from Dale Carnegie Training, headquartered at New York, USA, conducted a two day workshop on High Impact Teaching Skills at the campus. The workshop was open to faculty as well as students. It emphasized planning, presentation skills, handling large audiences, voice modulation, pitch, and responding to difficult classroom situations.

The High Impact Skills Training workshop was conducted in LPU in collaboration with the Faculty Development Program (FDP) of the university. Organized over a span of two days, the program employed methodologies ranging from group gearning, self- group activities, role plays, to attitude- knowledge- skill development (ASK), and personalised coaching for a holistic training of each participant. The first day focused on planning and organizing presentations while the final day the faculty were trained on effective communication with clarity and connection to motivate audiences.
The workshop gave LPU teachers the golden chance to be trained by Mr. Deepankar Sarkar, presently Training Consultant with Dale Carnegie India. Of the many feathers in his cap, Mr. Deepankar has facilitated training programs for various sectors like BFSI, construction, oil & gas, e-commerce, telecom, compliance and licensing, retail, FMCG, IT/ITES, and educational institutions. He has 14 years of experience in managing and leading Training Operations along with Learning and Development. Mr. Deepankar specializes in up-skilling the Sales function, along with other trainings such as 9rganizational development, process improvement and process control in retail, channel, B2B, IT, ITES, telecom, debt market, education and infrastructure environment.
