“Nature holds the key to our aesthetic, intellectual, cognitive and even spiritual satisfaction” – E. O Wilson
I believe for a fact that, we human beings have lost our touch and connection with the nature, which is beautifully coexisting unnoticed in front of our own eyes. Mother Nature’s call echoes through the entire universe to get our attention, but we remain baffled and ignorant of the wonders surrounding us. Technology is the universal puppeteer, and we are its puppets living in its control. We have become so caught up with the material things in the world that, we are in a constant race with ourselves to be in the top, and we have no time at all to give to nature. How pitiful it is to see the ignorance we created towards Mother Nature and its wonders.
Oh! How amazing it sounds to be ‘lost in nature’.
To wake up to the sound of sweet old birds singing to the dawn of a new day
To look away towards the light, and exhale the fresh new air of a new day
To treat a cup of coffee admiring the greens and blues around
To take a walk around, and wander mesmerized by the beauty of Mother Nature
A beautiful start for the day. A touch of nature at the start of the day would bring about satisfaction and joy for the entire day. Nature’s gift is in abundance and in many, but it can only be revealed if we look with the eyes.
Into the woods it is dark and silent, look deeper, and the magic will reveal as the night sky that glitters. To walk inside a forest through the night’s shadow, and stumble upon (if it wishes) the parade of the dancing fireflies. To go into the forest and set up a bonfire, and play the 6-strings to the songs of the dancing trees and the tone of night fall. To lay on the bed of grasses, and look up and admire the thousands of stars above the sky. To be completely and perfectly be ‘lost in nature’, and experience and breathe in, the wonders and satisfaction of Mother Nature.
Oh, sweet nature! Longing for the cold dark winter mornings on the shore side, to admire the dancing waves through the ocean floor. The cold touch of the winter snow on the skin, walking along the path of the ‘Oak trees’ trail. With thoughts of yesterday’s memories, today’s living, and tomorrow’s surprise as the walk continues with the peaceful company of nature’s own gifts.
I honestly wish to be ‘lost in nature’, and to be taken aback to a peaceful solitude of my own. To live and breathe the essence of Mother Nature, and believe in the reality of nature and life. It won’t hurt to look away from the world, and give a little time to nature. Cause you’ll realize and understand the true wonders of life if only you become Lost in Nature.
