LPU faculty did a commendable job when it stepped forward to deliver training on soft skills to police officers. The need to impart soft skills in police officers was recently emphasized by PM Narendra Modi when he said that the development of soft skills is now essential and should become a part of the training drill. Soft skills include good interpersonal skills with the ability to understand and relate to people who need help.
This initiative received a positive response from the police officers who participated in the two-day training program.
