Dr. Kanish Kapoor is an Assistant Professor in the School of Civil Engineering, Lovely Professional University. His research work is focused on the development of Self Compacting Concrete using Construction and Demolition waste and industrial by-products. He is also working on research projects based on previous concrete incorporating waste plastics and recycled aggregates. Dr. Kanish Kapoor recently presented a research paper in International Interdisciplinary Conference on Science Technology Engineering Management Pharmacy and Humanities held at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He presented the research paper with title, “Properties of recycled aggregate concrete made with beneficiated recycled coarse aggregates”. In this research paper, he focused on the use of beneficiated recycled aggregates in the concrete without compromising the strength and durability properties of concrete for which Dr. Kanish Kapoor won the Best Paper Award.
