Laws are necessary for any country to stop people and things from getting out of control, but some laws are so bizarre that they make you wonder if they’re even real. Take a look at a few of them:

In Victoria, Australia it is illegal to change a lightbulb if you’re not a licensed electrician. I’m just not sure how they are going to find out if someone changes it in their house.

It is illegal to flush the toilet after 10 p.m. in Switzerland, in an apartment. They consider it as noise pollution.

Taking a lion to the movies in Baltimore, Maryland is considered illegal. Wild isn’t it?

In Alabama, you’re not allowed to wrestle with a bear. Maybe they don’t want bears to win.

It is against the law to let a foreigner stay the night in your house in Cuba. They are going to need a written permit from the government in order to let a foreigner crash at their place.

In Tuszyn, Poland, Winnie the Pooh is banned from playgrounds as they consider Pooh inappropriate for being half naked.

Everyone must smile at all times except when in a hospital or at a funeral in Milan, Italy. You will be fined if you don’t.

In Greece, it is illegal to wear heels at historical monuments and ancient sites as heels may damage them. Bad news girls!

Can you believe that it is illegal for a chicken to cross the road in Georgia? I’m curious about the fine that would be imposed on the chicken.

In Honolulu, Hawaii, it is against the law to sing loudly after sunset. I guess we won’t be finding any Disney princesses there.

Surprising, aren’t they? These are just some of them, don’t even get me started on the rest.
