Preparing ourselves for the future and in searching for technologies for future, LPU has collaborated with India’s most powerful body in the complex, yet the intriguing field of Nanoscience. On 24th November 2017, LPU collaborated with Institute of Nano Science and Technology and Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, to guide its students into the future of Nanoscience.
Nanoscience is a branch of science that deals with matter atomic, molecular and supramolecular scale. On such a scale, properties of a material can be observed and studied which cannot be identified at macroscopic scales. The collaboration will open gates for LPU students to enable themselves and be a part of the ongoing researches in the field of Nanotechnology, which especially has huge significance in technologies used in MOSFETs, carbon nanotubes and more.
