Rhythms of Diversity at One World Event

The Lovely Professional university converted its campus into a mini India and a mini world when thousands of university came forward to celebrate the mega annual national cultural fest One India, One World. The second day of the grand events included deep glimpses into the rich heritage of Indian folk arts and those of the world through its music show ‘Sur Dhara’ in the afternoon.

The folk tunes from all over the country and the world created a magical euphony in the ears of the listeners. All the guests enjoyed to their fullest, while some couldn’t stop themselves singing along. The music teams included states like West Bengal, Assam, Uttar Pradesh etc followed by the countries Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. All were mere three to four minutes performances but the thrill they left in the minds of the audience was worth the time they spent in being a part of it.
