Lovely Professional University (LPU) has officially kickstarted Gear Up Season 5, its internal gateway to the Smart India Hackathon (SIH), with the grand inauguration of the largest 36-hour hackathon organised on campus.
Bringing together an extraordinary community of young innovators, Gear Up Season 5 is witnessing the participation of 6,000+ innovators, 900+ teams, and 200+ problem statements across 7+ venues, with the hackathon being conducted through 3 high-intensity batches over 36 hours.
The grand inauguration was held in the esteemed presence of:

Their presence and guidance added momentum to the event as students embarked on an intense journey of problem-solving, innovation, architectural design, technology development, and prototype building.
With teams working collaboratively to transform ideas into impactful solutions, Gear Up Season 5 reflects LPU’s commitment to nurturing innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship, and solution-oriented thinking among its students.
As the campus gears up for 36 hours of continuous ideation, development, collaboration, and innovation, the journey towards the Smart India Hackathon Grand Finale has officially begun.
