The Student Welfare Wing (Event Management Cell) at Lovely Professional University (LPU) successfully hosted a two-day Conference on Career Skills on April 15–16, 2025, at the Shanti Devi Mittal Auditorium and Uni-Auditorium. Distinguished guests were felicitated by the Chief Guest, Col. Dr. Rashmi Mittal, Worthy Pro-Chancellor of Lovely Professional University, in recognition of their contributions and presence.
The inaugural session featured a keynote address by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of LPU Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu. The event commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting, followed by a welcome address from Dr. Sorabh Lakhanpal, Executive Dean & Head of Wing (SWW), who highlighted the significance of future-focused domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Science, e-Commerce, Digital Marketing, Business Analytics, Renewable Energy, and Environmental Science.
The conference featured three technical sessions based on top career trends, including Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Science, e-Commerce, Digital Marketing, Business Analytics, Renewable Energy, and Environmental Science. The conference aimed to ignite intellectual curiosity, bridging theory with real-world impact.
The conference highlighted LPU’s commitment to fostering thought leadership and driving conversations on emerging industry trends and innovations.
