“Desires dictate our priorities, priorities shape our choices, and choices determine our actions.” ― Dallin H. Oaks

Is it not true that our older generation was more efficient than us? Every day we execute several tasks on a computer concurrently and it is a human tendency to grasp ideas, skills, knowledge from wherever we can. But is it necessary to be Jack of all trades and master of none? This is the big question that needs to be resolved for our generation to be more productive and less stressed.

The fundamental solution for this is to prioritize things. The basic principles for fixing priority are:

1. You must know the difference between what is important and what is not.

2. You must first do what is important.

With this methodology we surely can learn the art of mastering a particular thing at a particular time. The old adage, “who is able to think is able” applies very well to our times, it is imperative that we begin to treat our brains with respect. Better to learn a few things well than walk around with a headful of dangerous half knowledge.
