Lovely Professional University recently conducted series of Dealer Capability Building Workshops: ‘Utkarsh – Learn and Grow’ for Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. dealers ushering in a new era of sustainable business development. Dr. Manish Gupta, Registrar (Admin), LPU, set the tone with a warm welcome and highlighted the workshop’s pivotal role in fostering learning and development.
Sh. Sanjay Chaubey, the distinguished State Head of Retail, for Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir shared BPCL’s vision of being the most admired global energy company leveraging talent and technology. He appreciated Lovely Professional University for the transformative influence of previous training programs, emphasizing their instrumental role in bringing significant and tangible improvements at BPCL retail outlets. Dr. Sanjay Modi, Pro Vice-Chancellor, LPU, shared his insights on the new age management strategies for leadership excellence and innovation in retail business.
Mr. Kumar Nandan Singh, Territory Manager, BPCL, welcomed the dealers from north India and shared the intended outcomes of the training program. He encouraged all to participate with an open mind and relish the ‘back to campus’ experience at Lovely Professional University.
The workshop was curated after diligent diagnostic exercise and field work by Dr. Sunaina Ahuja, Professor and Dean, Mr. Sarabjit Singh Kwatra, Deputy Dean LPU-HRDC and team of experts at LPU-HRDC in collaboration with Dr. Rajesh Verma, Professor and Senior Dean, Mittal School of Business, and a team of Subject Matter Experts with an experiential learning approach and a focus on actionable outcomes. The dealers actively participated in all training modules and benefitted from the best practices shared in peer group discussions.
The program concluded at a high note with a passionate and insightful valedictory address by Mr. Deepak Trivedi, Chief Manager, Retail, BPCL, as he highlighted the significance of continuous improvement through self-critique, regular monitoring and frugal innovation, for quality excellence in customer service, delivering BPCL’s promise of Pure for Sure.
